Urban Outreach – Eve’s Space
Urban Outreach (Bolton) is a registered Christian Charity, established in 1990 to work with disadvantaged and vulnerable individuals in the town of Bolton, Greater Manchester. Their purpose is to meet the needs of the whole person, in partnership with local churches, the voluntary and statutory sectors, businesses and individuals.
They provide innovative solutions in support, re-housing & resettlement of both male and female offenders. They advocate, provide mediation and support women who want to exit prostitution. They support children and young people who have been reported missing from home in Bolton, and their families. They find and help sustain accommodation for roofless and homeless people. They provide emergency food parcels for families in hardship.
Eve’s Space was established in 2010. It is a partnership between Urban Outreach, Bolton Council BeSafe and Greater Manchester CRC. Eve’s Space provides support for women offenders or those at risk of offending. This is accomplished through one to one support and group work in order to address issues that could potentially cause reoffending but also to provide the encouragement needed to support sustainable lifestyles.
