The Cambridge Centre provides a range of services including criminal justice interventions, services for young people, harm reduction and needle exchange services and a range of psychosocial interventions for drug and alcohol users. The Centre provides accredited vocational and pre-vocational training, as well as a range of courses to increase personal resources and drop-in facilities.
The Cambridge Centre has a Women’s Community Project that works with vulnerable women who have offended or who are at risk of offending to overcome their challenges and aims to keep them out of prison and with their families. The women are offered help ranging from tackling drug or alcohol misuse to finding better accommodation, education and training to dealing with relationships. The project covers Scarborough, Whitby and Ryedale.
