ADVANCE is a nationally recognised women’s charity based in West London working to support women to cope and recover from experiences of domestic abuse and supporting women who are at risk of offending or with short term sentences to reduce offending. Established in 1998 to work within domestic abuse, they specialise in a range of services which support women at high risk through services based at their Hammersmith offices and at co-located offices across four West London boroughs. FEMALE* Fundraising Intern
Unpaid volunteering role
We are seeking someone with good writing skills and an interest in our services to join us at our Hammersmith offices. The ideal candidate will be keen to learn and able to work alongside our management team to put together bids and budgets which will bring in funds and support our sustainability.

  • You need to be able to commit to a 6-9 month internship to gain the maximum from this placement.
  • You will receive a full induction, shadow senior managers and get ongoing training and support from experienced fundraisers within the team. You will also work alongside the chief executive, an experienced fundraiser who has in the past run workshops on many forms of fundraising skills

Female* Family Support IDVA
The Family Support IDVA will work within a dynamic, fast paced, crisis intervention, advocacy and support service to ensure the voice of survivors informs every stage of the process specialising in working with clients who have children.
Working hours: Full time
Salary: NJC scale 29-31 £28,191 – 29,838 inc London Weighting

Female* IDVA

2 x Female* Through the Gate Keyworker
The purpose of the Through The Gate Key-worker is to help women who are released from prison resettle in their communities in London.
Working hours: Full time
Salary: NJC scale 29-31 £28,191 – 29,838 inc London Weighting

Interview date: Week commencing 20 July

Female* Finance Officer
The Finance Officer will work as a member of the Business Support Office to provide a comprehensive financial service to ADVANCE..
Working hours: 21 hours per week
Salary: NJC Scale 26-28 £25,742 – 27,244 pro rata, per annum, inc. London Weighting
Closing date: 12noon Friday 31 July
Interview date: Week commencing 3 August
