Star Project (Surviving Trauma After Rape)
Helpline and other support services for women and men aged 14+ who have been raped or seriously sexually assaulted as adults. Counselling, emotional and practical support. The project is not able to support young people or adults who were abused as children.
Calderdale SmartMove
Assist people who are on benefits or low incomes and who are homeless or in housing need to access housing, by guaranteeing a bond on their behalf. Also provide support for people in their own tenancies.
Keyhouse (Keighley)
Advice and assistance in housing, welfare rights and debt law including representation at tribunals. Subjects covered include mortgage and rent arrears, landlord/tenant disputes, homelessness and housing allocations. Duty housing possession scheme at Keighley, York, Skipton, Scarborough, Whitby and Bridlington County Courts. Accommodation services. Homehunter service point. Supported housing.
Evolve Calderdale
Holistic support and interventions for women who have offended, ex-offenders and women at risk of offending. Case workers provide integrated support packages which can include debt, welfare benefits, physical/ emotional and mental health issues, domestic violence and abuse, substance misuse, parenting support. Work with women at every stage - at risk, at point of arrest, through to resettlement.

Can provide temporary accommodation for those assessed as in priority need - those with children or pregnant, vulnerable because of age (60+), disability or at risk from violence. Advice, information and support for people aged 21+ with drug or alcohol problems. Detox, substitute prescribing, inpatient and community detox, assessment for residential rehab. Needle exchange. Support for offenders and disadvantaged people with housing, training and employment. Training courses and supported work placements in a range of areas. Employment support for socially excluded people. Support for people in housing need - drop-in assessment and advice Mon-Thurs 10am-4pm. Support for newly released prisoners. Training and resettlement support in prisons.
